Sommerberg Ski Hutte

A few hundred meters from Sommerberg village is the Ski Hutte restaurant where you can eat and drink in a cosy log cabin type atmosphere. The terrace overlooks an easy sloping ski piste which is ideal for beginners. In winter the button lift and a T-bar lift bring skiers up and in summer the T-bar lift transports bikers up to the bike park. There are numerous well sign-posted routes for bikers, cross-country skiers and walkers throughout the forest. Nearby the restaurant there is also a barbecue area and childrens play area with swings, slides and climbing frames.

Young biker practices in the bike park

Behind the Ski Hutte is an enclosed area where bikers can practice riding on an undulating course of mixed terrain. It is an ideal environment for budding bikers and fun for anyone interested in practicing their biking skills.
